BIPOC Invitation to Rest 2022

  • Tatamagouche Centre 259 Loop Route 6 Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia Canada (map)

We are extending a loving invitation to Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) to come to Tatamagouche Centre for a weekend of rest and share. As activists, leaders, and Elders, you are on the front lines holding your families and communities. The multiple pandemics of racism, COVID-19, climate crisis has just thrown that into relief. We’ll take care of meals. Come and enjoy a chance to just rest, sleep, play, walk the trails, the grounds. Take a swim in the ocean nearby. There is a light and optional invitation to gather and share. You are also welcome to come and just be.

We would like to acknowledge our partners Catherine Donnelly Foundation and United Church of Canada Foundation for their generous support.
